Lance has lived in Chicago, San Jose, Dallas, Philadelphia, New Haven and now Charlotte for the past 24 years. He and his wife, Rachel, have been married for 36 years. They have two sons (31 & 27), and twin daughters (23), three are married and so far two grandkids. His interests include having dinner out with his wife, outdoor adventures (hiking, camping, fishing, canoeing), having coffee with a friend, and when time allows restoring vintage motorcycles.

Lance counsels students (ages 10 and up), individuals (men & women), couples (including pre-marital & divorce) and families (including divided & blended). He also conducts support groups, workshops and seminars for churches and businesses. He is an ordained minister and has served in three local churches as an associate pastor overseeing various student, men, and marriage ministries. Before seminary and pastoral ministry, he was an electronic engineer for Applied Materials in Santa Clara, CA.
